Where To Go For Your Honeymoon
There is no single place that will meet the criteria of a perfect honeymoon destination. That doesn’t sound like much of an answer but the fact of the matter is that everyone will have a different answer for the best honeymoon destination. So the best that can be said under the circumstances would be to cite the elements that will make a place an ideal honeymoon site. To choose the best honeymoon destination, you and your significant other should sit down together and decide where you both have always want to travel. Once you both have compiled a list of your dream destinations, reality sets in with creating your budget for your honeymoon. In the end, the final decision will be a compromise between what they can afford and where they want to go.
In this discussion, the couple will come out with the places they would like to go in order of priority, and then move on to the financial matters. The question that they will have to face and resolve will be the matter of affordability given their financial condition.
You can go up to Alaska or down to Mexico or the exotic Pacific isles of Tahiti or Hawaii, or as far as the Mediterranean Sea depending on your spending money.
Sometimes the best honeymoon destination is close to home, within just a few hours by car or plane. Las Vegas is a favorite destination of the newlyweds, while some have special affinity with nature and would go to Aspen or the Niagara Falls, and of course the tropical island of Hawaii always beckons. These destinations near and far have hotels and vacation resorts with complete amenities and excellent facilities. So you will have no shortage of choices, you can go north to ski and ride the rapids, or try your luck in the card table and savor the great entertainment of Vegas, or be a kid again and enjoy the rides in Disneyland – the only limitation being your spending money.
On the other hand, there are many places in the U.S. that you can go to if you want someplace that is nearer and you can reach in only a few hours travel time. There is Las Vegas and Reno with their casinos and great entertainment, or the world famous Niagara Falls, or several skiing resorts, or you can fly to the Hawaiian Islands. In the entertainment cities and vacation places, you can find package deals that include board and lodging, and if you look hard enough there might even be a place very close to your home. If you want to commune with nature or prefer the nightlife or theme parks, all these are to be found in the country and you just need to take stock of your finances and off you can go. In effect, you cannot say that this or that place is great for your honeymoon, because anyplace will do as long you have a great time together. Often, your choice is the result of balancing your choices and the more practical aspects of your financial situation. So when you come down to it, your honeymoon destination is of secondary importance, because what matters is that you and your spouse are together, hopefully ever after.
